How do I make a math worksheet?
Choose a ready-made set or tick the operations you want, then set the smallest and largest numbers to use. Pick how many problems and columns, and whether the answers need a key. Type a title and instructions on the sheet, press New problems until you like the set, and download the PDF with the answer key.

Which facts should students know by heart?
The Common Core math standards ask grade 2 students to fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies, and grade 3 students to fluently multiply and divide within 100. The Addition within 20, Subtraction within 20, Multiplication facts and Division within 100 sets match those goals, so short timed drills can track progress through the year.
How does it keep division problems whole?
Each division problem is built backward from a multiplication fact. The maker picks two numbers, multiplies them, and asks students to divide the product by one of them, so the answer is always the other number with no remainder. The divisor is never zero, and the answer key shows each quotient in red.
