How do I convert MOBI to PDF?
Press Choose a MOBI file and check the title and chapter count. Pick a page size and text size: A5 at 12 pt reads well on a tablet, and A4 or Letter suits printing. Press Convert to PDF, then Download. Chapters start on new pages, and the text can be searched and copied.

Which MOBI files work?
DRM-free MOBI, PRC and AZW3 files, such as books from public domain libraries, your own files made with ebook or Kindle tools, and older Mobipocket books. Files compressed with Amazon's Huffman option are not read yet; convert those to EPUB with an ebook app on your computer and use EPUB to PDF.
How long does a conversion take?
A few seconds for a typical book on a computer. This table shows our test MOBI file converted with the tool at the default A5 page and 12 pt text. A full-length novel has about thirty times as many words, so expect a minute or so and a few hundred pages.
| Test book | Pages | PDF size | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 chapters, about 2,900 words, a cover and a picture | 20 | 48 KB | 2.9 s |

Why does it say my book has DRM?
Books from the Kindle store are encrypted so only Amazon's apps can open them. The tool reads the book's encryption setting and stops if the text is locked. It does not remove DRM. You can still read those books in the Kindle apps.
Limits and fixes
- DRM-protected books cannot be converted.
- Huffman-compressed MOBI files are not supported yet. Newer Kindle files (KF8) work here and on AZW3 to PDF.
- Links inside the book become plain text; links to websites keep working.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up or page limit.
Is my book uploaded?
No. It is read and converted in your browser.
Can I print it as a booklet?
Yes. Convert at A5, then use PDF Booklet to arrange the pages for folding.
What about EPUB files?
Use EPUB to PDF, which works the same way.
Is the text searchable?
Yes. The PDF holds real text, not pictures of pages.
