How do I convert EPUB to PDF?
Press Choose an EPUB and check the title and chapter count. Pick a page size and text size: A5 at 12 pt reads well on a tablet, and A4 or Letter suits printing. Press Convert to PDF, wait while the pages are laid out, then Download. Chapters start on new pages and appear as bookmarks.
- Press Choose an EPUB.
- Pick a Page size and Text size.
- Choose whether to start with the cover and keep the book's own styles.
- Press Convert to PDF, then Download.
How many pages will my PDF have?
It depends on the page and text size. Smaller pages and larger text mean more pages. This table shows our 20-chapter test book, about 23,000 words, converted with the tool at each page size with 12 pt text. An 80,000-word novel would have about three and a half times as many pages.
| Page size | Pages | PDF size | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| A5 | 144 | 327 KB | 3.6 s |
| 6 × 9 in | 139 | 325 KB | 1.8 s |
| A4 | 82 | 243 KB | 1.8 s |
| US Letter | 83 | 242 KB | 1.8 s |

Why does it say my book has DRM?
Books bought from many ebook stores are locked with DRM, which encrypts the text so only the store's apps can open it. This tool reads the book's encryption list and stops if the text is locked. It does not remove DRM. DRM-free books, such as those from public domain libraries, convert normally.
Will the PDF look like my e-reader?
Close, but not identical. E-readers reflow text to fit the screen, while a PDF has fixed pages. The tool uses a clean book layout with your chosen size. Tick Keep the book's own styles to bring over indents, centering and alignment from the book's stylesheet; web fonts in the book are replaced with standard ones.
Limits and fixes
- DRM-protected books cannot be converted.
- Fixed-layout EPUBs (picture books, comics) are laid out as flowing pages, so page designs may shift.
- Links between chapters become plain text; links to websites keep working.
- Audio, video and scripts in the book are left out.
- MOBI and AZW files are not EPUB; convert them to EPUB first.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up, watermark or page limit.
Is my book uploaded?
No. The EPUB is unpacked and laid out in your browser.
Can I search and copy the text?
Yes. The PDF holds real text, not pictures of pages.
Can I print it as a booklet?
Yes. Convert at A5, then use PDF Booklet to arrange the pages for folding.
Which EPUB versions work?
EPUB 2 and EPUB 3 files without DRM.
