How do I convert a CSV file to PDF?
Press Choose a CSV file and check the preview of the first rows. Leave Separator on Detect automatically unless the columns look wrong. Keep First row is a header ticked, choose the page size and orientation, then press Convert to PDF and Download. Long files continue over as many pages as needed.
- Press Choose a CSV file.
- Check the preview; change Separator if the columns look wrong.
- Pick Fit, Orientation and Page size.
- Press Convert to PDF, then Download.
Why do my columns look wrong?
Usually the separator. Files saved in many European languages use semicolons, because the comma is the decimal mark there. The tool picks the separator that splits the first lines into the same number of columns. This table shows how its own parser reads three tricky lines.
| Line in the file | Separator found | Cells |
|---|---|---|
Tea,1.50,2026-10-01 | comma | Tea | 1.50 | 2026-10-01 |
Tee;1,50;01.10.2026 | semicolon | Tee | 1,50 | 01.10.2026 |
"Chen, Li","said ""hi""",3 | comma | Chen, Li | said "hi" | 3 |
How many pages will my PDF have?
It depends on the number of rows and how wide the table is. This table shows our test file of 150 orders with 8 columns converted with the tool. Landscape fits wide tables with larger text; Actual size keeps 100% text and moves extra columns to later pages.
| Setting | Pages | Time |
|---|---|---|
| 150 orders, 8 columns, US Letter portrait | 4 | 1.8 s |
| Same file, landscape | 5 | 1.1 s |

Limits and fixes
- Values print as written: dates and numbers are not reformatted. For formatting, open the CSV in Excel, format it, save as .xlsx and use Excel to PDF.
- Very long cells (over 60 characters) wrap inside their column.
- Old files that are not UTF-8 are read as Windows-1252, the usual encoding of older Excel exports.
